I've come to realize that immediacy is the essence of what I do. It's about seeing and processing through the hands—capturing something in the moment and preserving that energy.
その瞬間に感じたものを、迷わず線にしていく。その即興的なプロセスにドローイングの魅力を感じます。目にしたものを手が追いかける一瞬に、生きたリズムをとらえたいと思っています。
I draw all the time, but if I had to choose a season, it would be autumn. When the markets overflow with fruits in every shape and color, I start to feel anxious, like I need to draw them all.
一年中ドローイングはしているのですが、特に盛り上がる季節を選ぶならば、秋です。涼しさが戻り始めるころ、いろんな色や形の果物が市場に並びはじめると、とにかく全部すぐに描かなければいけない気持ちがしてきて、妙に落ち着かないのです。
