I've come to realize that immediacy is the essence of what I do. It's about seeing and processing through the hands—capturing something in the moment and preserving that energy.

There's a season for drawing and, to me, it's autumn. When the markets overflow with beautiful fruit, I get anxious because I want to draw every single one.
私にとってドローイングの季節と言えば、秋です。涼しさが戻り始めるころ、市場にはいろんな果物が並びはじめて、描きたいものだらけになります。毎年この時期は、うれしい忙しさに追われます。
