SKETCHBOOK

My sketchbook is part of my daily practice. It’s a place to follow thoughts and ideas without knowing where they might lead. I try to fill a page every day, working intuitively and letting things take shape as I go.

Over time, these pages have become a kind of archive. Looking back, I find recurring shapes, colours and ideas — small threads that continue to find their way into my work.

スケッチブックは、日々の制作の一部です。どこへ向かうのかわからないまま、浮かんだことやアイデアを追いかける場所。毎日1ページを埋めることを心がけ、直感にまかせながら、形になっていくものを見つけていきます。

そうして積み重なったページは、いつの間にかひとつの記録となって残ります。振り返ってみると、何度も現れる形や色、アイデアがあります。それらは常に地下を流れる水のように、今の作品にもつながっています。
