My sketchbook serves as an indispensable tool in my artistic practice. I make it a habit to fill a page daily, using it as a limitless testing ground while also documenting my thoughts and ideas. This approach allows me to embrace intuition and uncertainty, which are vital for the development of my artistic language. My journey with sketchbooks began during my time in university, where I studied graphic design. These sketchbooks hold precious documentation of my artistic development. Periodically, I revisit these sketchbooks, and they serve as reminders of my artistic path. Despite my style and interests evolving over the years, I can still identify a consistent thread that reveals my unchanging identity.

スケッチブックは日々の創作に欠かせないツールです。毎日１ページを埋めることを習慣にしており、好奇心の赴くままにあれこれ試しつつ、考えやアイデアを記録しています。直感に耳をすませながら先の見えない方向に進んでみる、というプロセスが、自分の絵の輪郭のようなものを少しづつ形作ってくれる気がしています。スケッチブックを使い始めたのは大学生の頃で（グラフィックデザインを専攻していた当時は、レイアウトやアイデアが中心でした）、それは貴重な自分の創作の変遷の記録でもあります。時に見返すと、自分がどのような道を辿ってきたのかを大きな流れで掴むことができ、またスタイルや興味が変化する中においても、一貫した変わらない部分が自分の中にあることに気付くことができます。
