I create mixed media paintings, drawings and prints in Ishikawa, Japan.

At the heart of my practice is a love for the simple act of making marks — the scratch of graphite, the way pigment seeps into paper, the tactile contact between hand, tool, and surface. There's something primal about leaving a trace, and it's where everything begins for me.

​

From that place, I collect small moments that make up our lives and capture them through lines, colors, and marks.

I have a deep affection for the steadiness of everyday life — richness lives in simple human acts, in the gentle presence of human tending.

​In a world that often feels uncertain, it's about choosing what to pay attention to. I shift my lens towards what moves me as a way of staying grounded in what matters. It is a constant practice.

Creating art and crafting a life are, for me, essentially the same journey. I pause, pay attention and move my hands. Then, I find my rhythm and feel simply here.

I received my BFA in graphic design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for over a decade before gradually cultivating my own art practice.

​

Having visited 35 countries and lived in the US, the UK, and now Japan, years of traveling and living in many places shaped my devotion to finding beauty in the small human gestures that make a life. I've always been fascinated by observing how people thoughtfully craft their lives across cultures, and that curiosity lives at the core of my work.
